However, Liverpool are not only focusing on strengthening the first team but are also aiming to add young talent to their academy.

Lynch revealed on Anfield Index that Liverpool are in talks with Wolves to sign Ayman and are close to finalizing the deal. The club sees the 16-year-old as a “big talent” and is confident about bringing him to Anfield.

He said:

“The deal is close to being done. Liverpool are in talks to get that done. It’s obviously a strange one with the young kids because you’re trying to agree on a few things to avoid a tribunal. Liverpool are keen to avoid that, but it sounds like they’re pretty confident this one will get done. There’s excitement around this lad, and they think he’s a big talent.”

Ayman is primarily a center-back but is also comfortable playing as a holding midfielder. He played for Wolves’ U18 and U21 teams last season and helped his side beat Liverpool in the U18 Premier League North.

Every team around the world is always searching for young talent, and the six-time European champions are no exception.

Liverpool have recently demonstrated their ability to develop young players and hope to do the same with Alvin Ayman.
