Bruno Guimaraes’ Brazil dominated Miguel Almiron’s Paraguay early Saturday morning in the Copa America. The two Newcastle teammates faced off in a crucial 2am kickoff in Las Vegas, with both teams needing a win after Brazil’s 0-0 draw with Costa Rica and Paraguay’s 2-1 loss to Colombia in their opening group games.

Both players started the match, but Brazil emerged victorious with a 4-1 win. Vinicius Junior scored twice, while Lucas Paqueta and Savio each added a goal, eliminating Paraguay from the tournament.

Bruno Guimaraes delivered an impressive performance, hitting the crossbar before being substituted by Douglas Luiz 20 minutes from the end. Almiron was also taken off with 78 minutes played.
