Incoming Bayern Munich transfer Michael Olise may not have made France’s EURO 2024 squad, but the 22-year-old remains committed to playing for the French national team and will represent his country at the Olympics in Paris this summer.
There, he will be coached by the legendary Thierry Henry, a former FC Barcelona and Arsenal FC star known for his exceptional talent.
Henry, who understands Olise’s attacking capabilities well, had high praise for the current Crystal Palace star’s role in the Olympics squad. “He’s a very important player for us,” Henry said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “He can play everywhere, on the wings or centrally. That gives us many options. He can pass, he can score, he understands space, and he knows how to press. He’s been injured quite often, so we will have to be careful about that.”
