## Sky Sports Confirms €60m Transfer Agreement Between Bayern Munich and Crystal Palace for Michael Olise
On June 22nd, Sky Sports confirmed a €60m transfer agreement between Bayern Munich and Crystal Palace for French winger Michael Olise.
Since the agreement between the Bavarian and London-based clubs, the transfer has stalled, causing Bayern fans to worry about a potential hijack from Manchester United.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, as reported by @iMiaSanMia, explained the delay:
When Bayern triggered Michael Olise’s release clause, Crystal Palace informed them of a crucial detail: the English club has a sell-on clause of around 10-15% as part of the agreement. This caused a delay in finalizing the deal. Now, everything is settled between Bayern and Palace—just waiting for the exchange of documents, the medical on Sunday, and the signing of the contract. Despite reports of clubs trying to hijack the deal, it was impossible because Olise wanted to go to Bayern.
Fans concerned about Olise’s transfer collapsing can relax; the 22-year-old Frenchman will officially be a Bayern Munich player, possibly as soon as Sunday.
Olise will join a crowded winger roster that includes Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Matthys Tel, and Bryan Zaragoza. This attacking depth is much needed for an injury-prone Bayern side, but it seems likely that one of their current wingers will depart soon.
What do you think of Michael Olise joining Bayern Munich? Is he an upgrade on Coman and Gnabry? Who will be the first Bayern winger to leave?
