"Super Pleased"- Ange Postecoglou says Tottenham have made a signing this summer that has 'GREATLY' delighted him.

Although Tottenham Hotspur are still in the early stages of their summer transfer window, Ange Postecoglou has already expressed delight over one completed deal.

Reports indicate that Spurs entered the summer with the primary goal of recruiting a new defensive midfielder and a wide forward for Postecoglou. However, as the summer progresses and interest grows in players like Emerson Royal and Sergio Reguilon, Tottenham may make additional moves.

Besides Emerson and Reguilon, both Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Djed Spence are expected to depart, as they are not in Postecoglou’s plans. Additionally, while Richarlison is not being pushed out, his departure could provide exciting opportunities for Johan Lange and his team to reinvest.

Despite these changes, Spurs have already made a significant move by securing the signing of Leeds United’s Archie Gray, beating out fierce competition. Bayern Munich and Brentford, who had even scheduled a medical, were both interested, but Gray chose Tottenham, excited by Postecoglou’s project.

Ange Postecoglou praised Archie Gray, calling him ‘outstanding’ for Leeds last season. Gray is expected to start in Wednesday’s match against Hearts. Speaking via Spurs Play, Postecoglou celebrated the 18-year-old’s attitude and performance, highlighting the difficulty of starting a career in the Championship. He expressed his pleasure that Spurs secured Gray, describing him as a great kid with a great attitude.

Postecoglou is equally excited about Lucas Bergvall, another promising talent for pre-season. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Gray and Bergvall play together against Hearts, with Gray wearing the #14 shirt and Bergvall #15.

However, Paris Saint-Germain may disrupt Postecoglou’s plans to sign Desire Doue as well.
