### Tottenham Eyes Scott McTominay Transfer Amidst Fulham Interest

Tottenham Hotspur may interfere with Fulham’s attempt to sign Manchester United’s Scott McTominay. According to The Sun, United values McTominay at £40 million. Last season, McTominay scored in double figures across all competitions, with seven league goals, attracting interest from various Premier League clubs. Fulham reportedly had a £17 million bid rejected for the 27-year-old, who has a year left on his contract at Old Trafford. Southampton and Newcastle are also interested, but Spurs have now joined the race, seeking to strengthen their midfield and consider McTominay as an alternative to Conor Gallagher.

### Spurs Keen on McTominay

With just 12 months left on his contract, McTominay’s departure from Manchester United seems imminent. The box-to-box midfielder, a product of United’s academy, has made 252 appearances and scored 29 goals for the club. Despite Erik ten Hag’s interest in keeping him, McTominay is not a first-choice option, prompting United to sanction his transfer this summer. United has set a £40 million asking price, aiming to avoid losing him for free in 2025.

To fund new signings like Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, United needs to sell players, with McTominay’s exit potentially raising necessary funds. Fulham’s initial £17 million bid was rejected, but they are expected to make an improved offer. However, Tottenham is now looking to outbid Fulham for McTominay, considering him a suitable alternative to Gallagher. Whether Spurs will match the £40 million valuation remains uncertain, but interest from Newcastle, Southampton, and Galatasaray could ignite a bidding war.

### Wan-Bissaka Also on the Move?

Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka might also leave the club, with West Ham interested in acquiring the right-back. West Ham is seeking a full-back, with Vladamir Coufal nearing the end of his career and Ben Johnson moving to Ipswich. Wan-Bissaka, deemed surplus to requirements at United, could fetch a significant fee. United hopes to recoup close to the £50 million they paid for him in 2019.
