“There is interest in” – Sky Sports journalist has exciting news for Tottenham fans

Tottenham has made three signings so far in the summer transfer window. They have secured Timo Werner on another loan deal, brought in midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United, and signed winger Yang Min-hyeok, who will join in January.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is keen to strengthen the squad further to challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League next season. Last season, Spurs missed out on a top-four spot to Aston Villa, and they aim to improve their standing in the upcoming campaign.

The club’s owners are supporting Postecoglou in the transfer market and are expected to continue doing so. According to Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge, Spurs are looking to make two or three more signings this summer. Bridge mentioned that the club is particularly interested in Aston Villa player Jacob Ramsey.

“There’s no set number of signings yet, and they’re very discreet in their business dealings. I think they’re still looking to add about two or three first-team players,” Bridge told GiveMeSport. “There is interest in Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, but it’s just interest at this stage, with potentially Giovani Lo Celso going to Aston Villa. However, nothing is confirmed on that front.”

It seems likely that Tottenham will sign another midfielder this summer, possibly Ramsey from Aston Villa. A swap deal involving Lo Celso could be on the table.

Additionally, Tottenham is looking to strengthen their attacking options. Last season, they relied on Son Heung-min and Richarlison as forwards. The club needs a natural number nine to lead the attack, and the right player in this position could significantly boost their performance. Replacing Harry Kane is crucial, and failing to do so could hinder their success next season.
