"Hes the leading contender to join Tottenham"- Journalist claimed a  Sensational Manchester City player is keen and now a 'leading contender' to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer...

One of Pep Guardiola’s key signings was Kyle Walker, who joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017. Since City paid £50 million for the right-back, Walker has made 301 appearances and captained the team to their historic fourth consecutive Premier League title last season.

Now, Tottenham is eyeing another right-back from City, Issa Kabore. The 23-year-old Burkina Faso international, valued at £12 million, impressed during his loan spell at Luton Town, catching the attention of several clubs, including Tottenham and AC Milan.

Kabore, signed by City in the summer of 2020 from Belgian club KV Mechelen, has had loan spells at his former club, Troyes, Marseille, and Luton Town. At Luton, he made 24 league appearances, provided two assists, and ranked third in the squad for progressive carries (60) and successful tackles (28), showcasing his effectiveness on and off the ball.

Given Kabore’s limited prospects for regular game time at City this season, selling him could be beneficial for all parties if Tottenham offers a suitable fee, especially as they seek a replacement for Emerson Royal.
