Liverpool, however, prefers a permanent sale of Bobby Clark. According to The Mirror (Sunday’s edition, 04/08, p83), they are asking for a fee of £12 million to sell Clark.
If Leeds pursue Clark on a permanent basis, it would mean spending half of the initial fee received for Summerville on the Liverpool talent, who is the son of former Newcastle United midfielder Lee Clark. He has a contract at Anfield until June 2028.
