LATEST TRANSFER UPDATE: Tottenham are prepared to make a £20.5 million offer for one of Europe's top midfield talents.

Tottenham Hotspur have made four signings so far this summer as Ange Postecoglou works to build a squad capable of securing a return to the Champions League.

Over the weekend, Spurs secured Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke for a reported fee of £65 million.

The North London club is still actively seeking more reinforcements, with Postecoglou particularly interested in adding another midfielder to the roster.

A bid is reportedly in the works…

Tottenham preparing an offer for Manuel Locatelli
According to Juve Live, Tottenham Hotspur is ready to submit a £20.5 million bid for Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli.

The Italian outlet reports that Spurs are highly interested in securing Locatelli’s services, and the Italy international is likely open to the move.

Thiago Motta hasn’t established the 26-year-old as a regular starter, so a deal could be beneficial for all parties involved.

Locatelli has been described as ‘one of the best’ midfielders in Europe, according to Breaking The Lines.

Profile of Manuel Locatelli
Locatelli made a name for himself during Italy’s successful Euro 2020 campaign, playing a key role in their victory.

Following that success, he completed a £29.8 million transfer from Sassuolo to Juventus, where he has since made 132 appearances for the club.

Locatelli is known for his ability to control the tempo of the game and advance the ball from deep positions, a skill set that Postecoglou’s side could greatly benefit from.

If Locatelli joins the Lilywhites, it could prove to be a transformative addition to the team.
