Jim White has warned that Sean Dyche could face significant pressure to be sacked if Everton loses to Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday, August 27.
Everton will take on Doncaster in the Carabao Cup’s second round for the second year running. Last season, the Blues secured a 2-1 victory with goals from Beto and Arnaut Danjuma.
Dyche is already under scrutiny after heavy defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur in the opening matches of the 2024/25 season.
White commented on talkSPORT, emphasizing the importance of the match for Dyche, stating, “If Doncaster were to cause an upset, the pressure on Sean Dyche would be immense.”
