Tottenham Hotspur is anticipated to be active in the final stretch of the transfer window, looking to secure additional signings.
Under manager Ange Postecoglou, Spurs have already bolstered their squad this summer with key additions such as Dominic Solanke, Wilson Odobert, Lucas Bergvall, and Archie Gray. Postecoglou is targeting a top-four finish in the Premier League for this season.
As the transfer window nears its close, Tottenham is expected to make further moves. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Spurs will be one of the key teams to watch in the final days of the window. Speaking exclusively to GiveMeSport, Romano said:
“I wouldn’t rule out anything for Tottenham. Besides Solanke, who was always the primary target, they’ve kept other signings under wraps. There’s still a chance they might make one or two more acquisitions. While I’m not certain it will be two, it’s possible. Tottenham will definitely be one of the clubs to keep an eye on as the window closes.”
The focus at Tottenham Stadium will also be on offloading players, with the club looking to move on from Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso.
Potential targets for late additions could include a wide attacking player to provide depth and options off the bench. The defense is well-stocked with three strong center-backs, with Ben Davies as a versatile backup. The midfield is in good shape, and Postecoglou is likely pleased with the improvements made, addressing gaps from last season.
With Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Manchester United strengthening their squads, Tottenham will face stiff competition in their bid for a top-four finish.
