BREAKING: "He’s set to leave, but Levy has rejected his request due to..." — Another high-profile Tottenham player is in discussions to move on, but Daniel Levy has turned down the bid.

Tottenham Hotspur is anticipated to be relatively inactive on transfer deadline day, having already completed the bulk of their transfers.

The club has added Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, and Yang Min-hyuk to their squad, while parting ways with players like Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp, and Emerson Royal.

Although most of Tottenham’s transfer business is settled, there are still a few players who might depart before the deadline.

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Giovani Lo Celso. The Argentine midfielder’s future at Tottenham has been uncertain for months. Lo Celso, who joined the club in 2019 initially on loan before a permanent move, has struggled to maintain consistent form.

Despite expectations for Lo Celso’s departure in 2023 after his loan at Villarreal, he remained with the club under Ange Postecoglou. However, he is likely to leave before the transfer window closes. Real Betis is keen on signing him but has yet to meet Tottenham’s terms, as Romano reported: “Real Betis are still negotiating for Gio Lo Celso, but Tottenham have not accepted the current proposal.”

In addition to Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon may also exit Tottenham before the deadline. Reguilon, who was on loan at Manchester United and Brentford last season, seems to have no future at Spurs. Besiktas is interested in him, but it remains to be seen if another club will make a move before the window closes tonight.
