According to Fichajes, several Saudi Arabian clubs are planning to pursue Tottenham captain Son Heung-min next summer.
Son, a key figure for Tottenham Hotspur and a pivotal player in Ange Postecoglou’s squad, is currently in the final two years of his contract. Reports indicate that multiple Saudi Pro League teams are interested in bringing the South Korean forward to the Middle East at the end of the season. The Saudi clubs are aiming to demonstrate their ambition by targeting some of Europe’s top stars, with Son being a prime candidate.
Teams like Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Ain, and Al Ittihad are reportedly eager to secure Son’s services, seeing his addition as a significant boost for the league and a landmark achievement for Asian football.
Despite this interest, Tottenham is expected to activate a contract extension clause to keep Son for at least another year, potentially longer. Journalist Ben Jacobs noted in July that Spurs would extend Son’s contract by an additional year, keeping him at the club until 2026.
From a Spurs Web perspective, it’s unlikely that Son will leave Europe soon. Given his physical condition and ambitions, he is expected to continue competing at a high level for at least two more years, ideally with Tottenham.
