"Breaking: Daniel Farke's Job on the Line? 49ers' Shocking Stance Unveiled by O’Rourke

Leeds United are not expected to make an immediate decision regarding Daniel Farke’s future after their recent loss to Burnley, according to sources for Football Insider.

In the latest edition of the Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke noted that Farke is under increasing pressure due to a sluggish start to the season, with the team managing only eight points from their first five matches.

The 49ers, who are eager to secure promotion to the Premier League after falling short last season, may hold Farke accountable if the team continues to struggle.

Last season’s disappointment was described as “agonizing,” leading to the sale of key players such as Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville, and Georginio Rutter.

With two wins, two draws, and one loss so far, frustration is mounting among fans at Elland Road, many of whom are calling for Farke’s dismissal. However, the board recognizes that they experienced a similarly poor start last season and is willing to support Farke in hopes of a turnaround.

Leeds’ season began with a disappointing draw against Portsmouth, which set the tone for their struggles. Despite solid wins over rivals Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday, they dropped points against Portsmouth, West Brom, and Burnley, and suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the League Cup.

Farke is aware of the mounting pressure, having faced calls for his exit last season before a turnaround saw the team contend for automatic promotion.

Names like Carlos Corberan and David Moyes have emerged as potential replacements as fans speculate about Farke’s future. While the board is inclined to support him, he must secure better results to keep his position.
