“SHOCKING Revelation: Heung-min Son Dominates the Premier League with This KEY Stat

According to WhoScored, Son Heung-min recorded more key passes against Brentford than any other player in a single Premier League match this season.

Historically, Son has been a slow starter, often taking a few games to regain his sharpness before hitting his stride a few months into the campaign. This season appears to follow that trend, as the South Korean has not yet reached his best in the initial matches.

However, against Brentford, the Tottenham captain began to show signs of improvement, consistently posing a threat and forming effective combinations with Dominic Solanke and James Maddison.

While he may have been disappointed not to score, Son provided two assists, setting up both Maddison and Brennan Johnson.

WhoScored revealed that the forward made seven key passes against Brentford, the highest by any player in a single game this season.

Spurs Web Opinion

Although it’s early in the season, I was impressed by the partnership between Solanke and Son. Solanke’s ability to drop deep and control the ball enables Son to make those dangerous out-to-in runs reminiscent of his time alongside Harry Kane.

One thing is clear: Son is only going to improve as the season progresses—he always does.
