News Now: Football Transfers has reported that Lopetegui’s team is interested in signing the player for £42 million to bolster their attack, and he is receptive to a move to the Premier League.

West Ham United is reportedly considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush, according to Football Transfers.

The Hammers aimed to bolster their center-forward position by signing Niclas Füllkrug this summer, but he has been sidelined with an injury since the last international break. In his absence, Julen Lopetegui has turned to Michail Antonio as the main striker, with Danny Ings also available. However, both players are nearing the end of their careers, with Antonio set to turn 35 next year and Ings already at that age.

Given the team’s struggles with scoring—managing only seven goals in seven games across all competitions—West Ham could benefit from a younger striker. Football Transfers reports that the club has shown interest in Marmoush, who is open to a move to the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest was interested in Marmoush last summer and even submitted a bid of around £25 million, which Frankfurt rejected. After signing him last summer, Frankfurt holds a strong position with three years remaining on his contract, reportedly valuing him at around £42 million.

Marmoush has made an impressive start to the season, scoring six goals and providing five assists in just seven appearances. He is a versatile player, comfortable as both a striker and a left winger. If he were to join West Ham, the club hopes he can replicate his Bundesliga form in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham will make a formal approach for Marmoush to enhance their attacking options. Meanwhile, the Hammers will host Ipswich Town at the London Stadium before the international break and will face city rivals Tottenham Hotspur later this month.
