“Bayern Munich’s Vincent Kompany Reveals Startling Secrets: Is Their ‘Risky’ Play Style Setting Them Up for Catastrophe? You Won’t Believe What He Says About Leroy Sané and Thomas Müller Before This Must-Win Match!

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany is fully focused on securing three points in Sunday’s match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

“Playing in Frankfurt is always significant. They have a strong counter-attacking team with many talented young players, and the club has room to grow. For us, though, it’s just another game. We aim to earn our points and continue our campaign in the Bundesliga,” Kompany stated (as noted by @iMiaSanMia). “I’m only thinking about the upcoming match against Frankfurt. After every game, regardless of the outcome, the next match is what matters most. We can carry valuable lessons into this game, which is essential for our success.”

The Bavarians are dealing with some injuries, as Jamal Musiala has recently been added to the list. Will this lead to increased playing time for Leroy Sané and Thomas Müller?

“It’s unfortunate that Jamal isn’t available; we all recognize his talent. However, he’s a young player, and we felt it was best for him to rest and return at full fitness. Our priority is his long-term health. We have complete confidence in all our players, including Leroy,” Kompany said. “We’ll see what tomorrow brings. Thomas is incredibly important to this club, as he demonstrated with his goal against Freiburg. My decisions are always aimed at winning the game; they aren’t made against specific players but rather in favor of others. There’s always a narrative around a player who doesn’t start.”

When asked if his style of play was too “risky,” Kompany replied that he doesn’t want to be confined to a single philosophy.

“I rarely use the term ‘play style.’ For me, our approach is pragmatic—it’s not about style. When you lose, you need to bounce back and aim to win the next game. That’s our focus for tomorrow. I also remember our achievements in past games,” he explained.
