“Could This £48m Forward Be the Next Gareth Bale? Tottenham Fans Believe Unbelievable Star Is Harry Kane’s Perfect Replacement After Stunning performance  vs Brighton!”

Fans were thrilled to see Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson equal a Harry Kane record by scoring his sixth goal in six games against Brighton.

Johnson Scores at AMEX Stadium
He opened the scoring on the south coast, continuing an impressive streak of finding the net in each of his last six starts across all competitions. The last Spurs player to accomplish this was Harry Kane, who did it twice, in the 2018/19 and 2015 seasons. Teddy Sheringham also reached this milestone in 1995, while Clive Allen holds the record with seven goals from the 1980s.

The Bigger Picture
After joining from Nottingham Forest, Johnson scored just six goals in his first season (2023-24), but he has already matched that total by October in his second full season. His current tally includes three goals in the Premier League, two in the Europa League, and one in the Carabao Cup.

What’s Next?
Following the international break, Spurs will face West Ham on October 18, where Johnson will aim for seven goals in seven games.
