Fans were thrilled to see Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson equal a Harry Kane record by scoring his sixth goal in six games against Brighton.

The last Spurs player to accomplish this was Harry Kane, who did it twice, in the 2018/19 and 2015 seasons. After joining from Nottingham Forest, Johnson scored just six goals in his first season (2023-24), but he has already matched that total by October in his second full season. His current tally includes three goals in the Premier League, two in the Europa League, and one in the Carabao Cup.
