“Exclusive: Leicester’s £21m Star Aims High! Agent Drops Bombshell on Premier League Dreams with Steve Cooper!
Steve Cooper has struggled to make an impact at Leicester City since replacing Enzo Maresca. The team has managed to secure only one win in their first seven Premier League matches, earning six points out of a possible 21.
Cooper has faced significant criticism from fans over his team selection and conservative playing style, though some pressure was lifted after a 1-0 victory against Bournemouth over the weekend.

Bilal El Khannouss echoes this ambition. His agent and mother, Karima Ben Aissa, recently spoke to Het Belang van Limburg, stating that he aims for Leicester City to secure a top 10 finish this season. “His goal is to score more and be more decisive,” she explained. “That was one of his weaknesses at Genk, and he wants to do his best to help the team achieve a top 10 standing.”
However, under Cooper’s current management, this goal seems challenging to realize, as his tactics haven’t fully utilized the team’s key players. Talented players like Ricardo Pereira and Abdul Fatawu have found themselves on the bench, frustrating supporters.
El Khannouss, who joined from Genk for £21m, has only played 79 minutes in the Premier League so far. Currently, he is behind Facundo Buonanotte in the lineup, with Buonanotte proving to be one of Leicester’s best signings this summer, contributing four goal involvements in six league matches.
For El Khannouss to make his mark, he’ll need to keep training hard and seize any opportunities he gets in future matches.
