Sean Dyche’s side secured the win with first-half goals from Iliman Ndiaye and Michael Keane, putting the Blues in control and seeing them remain unbeaten in four matches, collecting eight points during that run.
This strong form marks a significant turnaround from their difficult start to the season, where they suffered four consecutive defeats. Next, Everton will host Fulham, and Dyche faces several important selection decisions.
One of the key dilemmas for Dyche is in defense. Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to be available for the Fulham match, and as Everton’s standout defender, he would typically slot back into the starting lineup. However, James Tarkowski and Michael Keane have begun to gel as a central defensive pair in recent weeks, with Keane also contributing offensively.
In the full-back roles, Vitalii Mykolenko’s return brought balance to Everton’s defense, while Ashley Young continued to impress at right-back. Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson could also be in contention after recovering from injuries.
