Oliver Glasner attributes Crystal Palace’s winless start to the 2024-25 Premier League season to a lack of confidence.
Following their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Monday, the Eagles have now gone eight Premier League matches without a victory, surpassing their previous record of seven games without a win at the start of the 2017-18 season.
Currently, Palace sits in 18th place and has managed just one clean sheet this season.
“It’s not great – it’s not good,” Glasner remarked.
“Everyone is disappointed. It’s our responsibility, particularly mine, to lift their spirits.
“Right now, I don’t believe the issue is tactical or mental; it’s simply a lack of confidence.
“We can see this, and we need to change it. It’s challenging when you’re not winning – we’re all human.
“There’s no reset button to press, but today there was passion and a strong work ethic.
“The players in the dressing room are very upset, but there was no blame directed at one another.”
