With Chris Wood scoring first for Nottingham, manager Julen Lopetegui must have been frustrated as West Ham went down to 10 men. On social media, Rennie expressed his discontent, labeling Alvarez an “idiot” for his constant fouling and calling his actions “unprofessional” given his prior yellow card.
Lopetegui is likely furious, not only for the red card but also for how it undermined any chance of West Ham building on their recent 2-1 victory over Manchester United.
