Miller’s Transfer Price-Tag Revealed”- Lennon Miller’s transfer fee has reportedly been SET, with both Celtic and Rangers now aware of the COST required to secure the talented midfielder from Motherwell.

Motherwell is reportedly looking to secure at least £4 million for their rising star Lennon Miller, as top clubs show interest in the talented 18-year-old, according to a recent report.

Miller, who continues to impress under manager Stuart Kettlewell, was recently entrusted with the captain’s armband for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden—a significant display of confidence in the young midfielder. Both Celtic and Rangers have been linked with moves for him, but the Daily Mail suggests that the two Old Firm clubs would need to offer substantial sums for Motherwell to consider a sale.

Barry Ferguson, the former Rangers player, has praised Miller’s potential, stating that the young midfielder would “walk” into the starting lineup at Ibrox. Despite the growing interest, Miller has expressed that his primary focus remains on his development, gaining more first-team experience, and progressing at Fir Park. Motherwell’s chairman, Kyrk Macmillan, has emphasized the club’s desire to keep Miller for as long as possible. However, as with any player, there is a price, and it will likely take more than the £3 million received for David Turnbull in 2020 for Motherwell to part ways with their prized asset.

The Daily Mail also mentions that while Celtic has shown interest in Miller, they have yet to make a formal approach. Rangers are similarly keen but have not yet made official contact. Additionally, there are rumors that Liverpool might enter the race, given their history of signing talent from Scotland, such as Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen.

Currently on international duty with the Scotland Under-19 team, Miller is under contract at Motherwell until 2026. Macmillan spoke about Miller’s leadership role, saying, “Obviously, he’s now captain of the club for the last couple of matches, including the semi-final at Hampden. Ultimately, it’s about Lennon’s growth journey, and we want him to stay at Motherwell as long as possible. It’s exciting to see him develop, and he gets supporters buzzing. We want to make his time here as successful as it can be. There may come a time when Lennon decides to seek a new challenge, but for now, we’re focused on helping him reach his full potential at Motherwell.”
