"I was Shocked after what he said about Everton"- Everton are in “big trouble” in the Premier League relegation battle after what Jason Cundy told him on talkSPORT on Saturday.

“I was Shocked after what he said about Everton”- Everton are in “big trouble” in the Premier League relegation battle after what Jason Cundy told him on talkSPORT on Saturday.

After Everton’s 0-0 draw with 10-man Brentford at Goodison Park on 23 November, pundit Jason Cundy expressed concern about the club’s future. He pointed out that the Toffees have a challenging run of fixtures ahead, including matches against Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Nottingham Forest. He also mentioned a tough encounter with Wolves, adding that he is worried about Everton’s situation.

Cundy emphasized the difficulty of Everton’s upcoming schedule, saying, “In December, they’ve got United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Forest, and then Wolves, who will be tough. I’m worried about Everton,” he said on talkSPORT [23 November, 5:54 pm].

Currently 15th in the table, Everton are under pressure, with pundit Jamie O’Hara warning that the team could be in danger of relegation. “You’ve got to look at the teams below them,” O’Hara noted. “They’re 15th with 11 points, but Wolves have been improving, and while Crystal Palace may not be in danger, Leicester is another team Everton could be competing with. Ipswich and Southampton seem to be out of the picture, so it’s really Leicester they need to worry about. With that tough fixture list coming up, it’s big trouble.”

Wolves, who sit 17th, have picked up two wins in a row, while Crystal Palace’s future remains uncertain. Southampton, already at the bottom with just four points, seem destined for relegation, leaving Everton, Leicester, Palace, and Ipswich to fight for survival in the Premier League.

With a tough December ahead, the next few weeks could be pivotal for Sean Dyche’s side. Having won just one of their last six games, Everton need to improve quickly to avoid dropping into the relegation zone.

The 0-0 result against Brentford was a missed opportunity, especially given that Brentford had Christian Norgaard controversially sent off. Thomas Frank’s side had lost all five of their away games this season, making it even more disappointing for the Toffees not to secure a win.

In other news, former goalkeeper Joe Hart has praised an “underrated” Everton player for their contribution this season, which has largely flown under the radar.
