“I were purely cheated we deserve to win because”- Unai Emery delivered Brutal verdict after FRUSTRATING Crystal Palace draw and felt Villa deserved to take three points from Saturday’s Premier League clash at Villa Park.

Unai Emery believes Aston Villa deserved all three points from their Premier League encounter with Crystal Palace at Villa Park on Saturday.

The hosts fought back from two deficits to secure a draw, dominating large portions of the game while Palace sought to capitalize on counter-attacks. Villa had a penalty saved when the score was level at 1-1, a pivotal moment that ultimately left Emery’s side reflecting on missed opportunities.

“I think we deserved to win, but every team has solid tactics and game plans, as they showed today,” Emery said. “They played on the counter and scored twice, but we didn’t concede a single corner in the first half, and we had plenty of chances to get into their box. We were controlling the game with our positioning but missed some key opportunities, like the penalty, which could have put us ahead.”

Emery acknowledged that the first half had been frustrating, but said the team stayed focused during the break, determined to stick to their game plan and mount a second-half comeback. “We did that, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. We had chances, but we have to accept it. We wanted to win, and we know that last season we finished fourth with a great campaign. This year has been tougher, but we will keep pushing forward and stay positive. After a disappointing result in our last match, we have to accept this draw and keep moving on.”

Villa now turn their attention to their upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Juventus at home on Wednesday night.
