Even more concerning was Engels’ performance: the Belgian was easily outmuscled by Hearts’ players and made minimal impact, prompting calls for him to be dropped.
While Hatate was involved in a key moment for Idah’s goal, it’s Engels whose form has become a major worry for Brendan Rodgers. With Paulo Bernardo shining off the bench, the pressure is mounting on Rodgers to drop Engels for their upcoming clash with Club Brugge, and perhaps give Bernardo a starting role.
