“Now we have to show we can perform at the same level in Glasgow abd Silence them”- says Club Brugge star ahead of UCL
Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari has stated that the intense atmosphere at Celtic Park will not intimidate his team ahead of their upcoming Champions League clash with Celtic.
The Belgian side arrives in Glasgow following a commanding 7-0 victory over Sint-Truidense, while Celtic also enjoyed a strong 4-1 win at Hearts.
Jashari, who joined Club Brugge for £6 million from Swiss side Luzern in the summer, is confident his team can handle the pressure. He remarked, “There were no celebrations after our win because we are focused on the tough away match against Celtic on Wednesday. We know how strong they can be at home, but it’s up to us to silence their fans.”
He continued, “I thought we played very well, and it was the perfect way to prepare for such an important game. The key takeaway for us was that we showed we could bounce back after a disappointing result at Beerschot in our last match. We needed a response, and we delivered.”
Jashari emphasized the importance of maintaining that performance level in Glasgow, adding, “A win at Celtic would be a big step toward reaching the next round.”
