BBC football pundit Chris Sutton has shared his prediction for today’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss to Arsenal earlier this week. They struggled to create opportunities in the attacking third and were ultimately undone by two goals from set pieces.
United will face Forest in today’s late kick-off, and Sutton doesn’t anticipate an easy game for the Red Devils, who are adjusting to a new formation under manager Ruben Amorim.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Sutton said: “I don’t think this will be straightforward for United. Forest have already won at Anfield this season and created chances against City on Wednesday, so I expect more of the same from them here.
“I’m going to play it safe with my prediction, though. I backed Forest to get something at the Etihad, and I was wrong, so I’m not confident enough to back them again on their return to Manchester.
“To be honest, I’m disappointed with myself for this prediction, although I do think Forest will score this time.”
United have earned eight points from their last five league matches, but they need a significantly better haul over the next five games to remain in the hunt for a Champions League spot.
The upcoming match against Forest is crucial, especially with a seven-point gap to fourth-place Manchester City.
United face a challenging schedule in the coming month, with fixtures against City, Newcastle United, and Liverpool.
Amorim has frequently rotated his squad due to tight recovery periods, and he is expected to make similar changes for the Forest game.
The Portuguese coach has already hinted that Manuel Ugarte may not be in the starting XI.
We anticipate up to six changes to the line-up.
Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo are likely to return to the starting XI after serving one-game suspensions against Arsenal in midweek.
