According to Stephen McGowan’s MailSport column on Thursday, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly planning to reunite with Tierney, with a move potentially taking place as early as January.
The 27-year-old left-back, who earns £120,000 a week at Arsenal, is free to speak with other clubs next month as his contract is set to expire in June 2025.
Arsenal has opted not to trigger the additional year in Tierney’s contract, meaning his five-and-a-half-year tenure in North London could be nearing its end.
Tierney, a former Celtic favorite who joined Arsenal from the Scottish club in the summer of 2019 for £25 million, is expected to attract interest from European clubs and English sides. However, Celtic could be his most appealing option.
