"He must leave Goodison now or never, he deserves much more bigger club not Everton"- BBC Pundit says Everton star must leave Goodison now to play for BIGGER Club

“He must leave Goodison now or never, he deserves much more bigger club not Everton”- BBC Pundit says Everton star must leave Goodison now to play for BIGGER Club

Paul Robinson has stated that Jordan Pickford must leave Everton now if he hopes to play for a “bigger club.”

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has been a standout performer for Everton in recent years, earning widespread respect with nearly 300 appearances since joining in 2017. Despite being linked with a move to Chelsea during the summer, Everton managed to hold on to their star shot-stopper and are reportedly planning to offer him a contract that would keep him at the club until his retirement [TBR Football].

Speaking live on BBC’s Final Score on December 29, Robinson commented, “There has been talk of Jordan Pickford potentially leaving Everton. Given his age and where he is in his career, it’s really now or never if he wants to move to a so-called bigger club. He’s playing some of the best football of his career, and he has matured as a player.”

Could Pickford Leave Everton at the End of the Season?

It would be a strange sight for Premier League fans to see Pickford in any other shirt than Everton’s or England’s. Since his move from Sunderland in 2017, Pickford has been a constant presence on Merseyside. While his career has had its ups and downs, the pressure of being Everton’s No. 1 has never seemed to faze him.

For Sean Dyche, Pickford is a goalkeeper who thrives under pressure, and it’s unlikely that he would secure a starting role at a new club unless it was a team in urgent need of a new keeper.

Tottenham are the only club in the “big six” that appears to need a new goalkeeper, but there have been no reports linking Pickford with a move away from Goodison Park.

Despite being in the race for the Golden Glove this season, just as he was last year, it’s surprising there haven’t been more rumors about England’s No. 1 goalkeeper’s future.

In other Everton news, Ben Foster has suggested that the Toffees may currently have the best player in the Premier League.
