“Ruud van Nistelrooy Breaks Silence: The SHOCKING truth about what ‘HURTS’ him most in Leicester City’s latest Defeat

Ruud van Nistelrooy suffered his fourth consecutive defeat as Leicester City manager, with his side losing 2-0 to Manchester City.

Despite several standout performances from Leicester players, the Foxes were unable to secure a result against the Premier League champions. To make matters worse, a last-minute equalizer by Wolves against Tottenham Hotspur left Leicester two points from safety.

This defeat also saw van Nistelrooy match an unwanted 21-year record for consecutive losses, even though many considered it to be Leicester’s best performance of the season.

Ruud van Nistelrooy Reflects on Leicester’s Latest Loss

After a winning debut in charge, van Nistelrooy has now overseen four straight losses. Despite the disappointing result, the Dutchman acknowledged visible improvements in his team over the last two games and expressed frustration that their efforts were not rewarded.

When asked if he took positives from the game, he said: “Yeah, I did. That’s why it hurts that we didn’t get anything from it because of the performance. The players invested a lot, and we played excellently. We moved the ball well from the back to midfield and into the final third, creating chances. It’s a shame. I wish we could have earned something for the performance the players gave today.”

Van Nistelrooy Praises Bilal El Khannouss

Despite the loss, there were clear positives, especially from Bilal El Khannouss. The young midfielder once again impressed Leicester fans, and van Nistelrooy, a long-time admirer, was full of praise for him.

“He was excellent, really good,” van Nistelrooy said. “The way we’re trying to play suits him. Bilal deserves a big compliment for his work-rate off the ball and his skill and technical ability on it.”
