Glasgow Rangers manager Philippe Clement may have received strong support from new CEO Patrick Stewart, but many fans at Ibrox believe he is not the right leader to guide the club forward.

If Igamane continues his impressive form, he could attract interest from several clubs in the summer transfer window.

Rangers were in search of another striker last summer, as Cyriel Dessers’ 22 goals were not enough to solve their attacking issues. The signing of Igamane, for a reported £1.7m, came as a surprise given his lack of senior experience outside of Morocco.
However, just seven months after his arrival, Igamane has become a standout player, scoring 12 goals in 21 appearances. His goal-scoring rate of one every 48 minutes and his impressive 67% conversion rate demonstrate his clinical nature. Additionally, his ability to create chances, averaging 1.3 key passes and 1.3 successful dribbles per game, shows that he is more than just a goal scorer.
Already popular with the Ibrox faithful, many see Igamane as the natural successor to Alfredo Morelos, with both players sharing similar attributes. The more goals he scores, the more interest he will generate come the summer transfer window, potentially resulting in a significant profit for Rangers.
Having strong players behind him could further elevate Igamane’s performances as the season progresses. If he stays, he may also benefit from playing alongside one of the SPFL’s top young talents.

Rangers are reportedly considering a pre-contract move for Dundee star Lyall Cameron, who has enjoyed an excellent season at Dens Park. Cameron was briefly linked with a move to Glasgow last summer, but it was Celtic who secured a deal for Dundee’s Luke McCowan, who has impressed at Parkhead. Now, it seems Rangers are leading the race for Cameron, despite competition from other clubs.
A move to Ibrox could be an ideal opportunity for Cameron to progress in his career, offering him the chance to compete for trophies and European football on a regular basis.

Cameron has already caught the eye with his performance against Rangers earlier this season, with analyst John Walker describing him as “an absolute stand-out” in that match. In the Premiership this season, Cameron has scored five goals and provided four assists, with a total of 15 goal contributions across all competitions. This is all the more impressive given his role in central or defensive midfield.
If Cameron moves to Ibrox, he could be used in a more advanced role, potentially linking up with Igamane. With four big chances created in the Premiership this season, along with an average of 1.7 key passes and 0.6 successful dribbles per game, Cameron could thrive in a more attacking position. His average of 59.7 touches per game shows his willingness to get involved and contribute to the team’s efforts.
These statistics make him an attractive option for Clement, offering a quality midfielder to strengthen his squad while also boosting the homegrown player quota.
