"He was definitely the Hardest and Dangerous player i've ever come across in PL this season, he's more clinical than Virgil van Dijk and William Saliba, i guess he might be best Spurs star"- Bournemouth Antoine Semenyo names one Tottenham’s player as ‘the toughest defender he’s faced’ over Virgil van Dijk and William Saliba

“He was definitely the Hardest and Dangerous player i’ve ever come across in PL this season, he’s more clinical than Virgil van Dijk and William Saliba, i guess he might be best Spurs star”- Antoine Semenyo names one Tottenham’s player as ‘the toughest defender he’s faced’ over Virgil van Dijk and William Saliba

Antoine Semenyo recently named Tottenham Hotspur’s Destiny Udogie as the toughest defender he’s faced in the Premier League this season, a surprising choice considering the Bournemouth winger has encountered top defenders like William Saliba of Arsenal and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.

Semenyo’s team, Bournemouth, caused Tottenham problems earlier this season by securing a 1-0 victory, though the winger had a relatively quiet game, registering only one shot on goal. Despite this, Udogie stood out as a formidable opponent, impressing Semenyo with his performance.

Speaking on the Ball Talk Podcast, Semenyo said, “I think Destiny Udogie of Tottenham was the hardest one I played. He was everywhere, up and down. Tottenham’s playing style is similar to ours in terms of running hard and covering a lot of ground. He took me in all directions, and it was really tough.”

Udogie had a strong performance during the match, winning 13 of 16 duels and contributing defensively with one clearance, one interception, and six tackles. He also had 78 touches and a 90% pass accuracy.

Although Tottenham will miss Udogie due to a recent hamstring injury, they still have Djed Spence as a potential replacement in the squad.
