“I didn’t expect Man United to be the best team on the pitch but…”- World Cup Winner Emmanuel Petit Delivers HARSH Man Utd reality that will EXCITE Rangers Fans – Carragher Left in Stitches
“I didn’t expect Man United to be the best team on the pitch but…”- World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit dishes out Rangers encouragement in brutal Man Utd truth bomb that has Carragher in stitches
A football legend has posed a challenge to Rangers ahead of their upcoming clash with Manchester United.
A former World Cup and Premier League winner has raised a question for Rangers to answer in their Europa League match against Manchester United this Thursday.
The Light Blues will travel to Old Trafford this week for the league stage of the competition.

Meanwhile, turmoil surrounds the Red Devils under new head coach Ruben Amorim, as they struggle in the Premier League, recently suffering a loss to Brighton at home.
Emmanuel Petit, who won the World Cup with France and the Premier League with Arsenal, was providing punditry alongside Jamie Carragher for Chelsea’s match against Wolves.

During the conversation, the topic of Manchester United came up, prompting Petit to pose a pointed question to Rangers.
When asked about Brighton’s success at Old Trafford, having won there for three consecutive seasons, Petit responded with a sharp remark ahead of Rangers’ visit: “The question is, who can’t beat Manchester United? That’s the main question.”
Carragher couldn’t help but laugh at the comment, but Petit was reminded that his former team, Arsenal, had recently been beaten by United in the FA Cup.
Despite this, he saw it as another opportunity for Rangers, saying: “That’s a difficult situation for any manager. If you think they are only there for cup reasons, there’s a problem.
Manchester United is not a surprise team, we know what Brighton can do.”
Petit continued, adding that he didn’t expect United to be the strongest team but believed they should show the personality and character seen in their matches against Liverpool, for example.
Rangers have had strong performances in the Europa League in recent years, reaching the final in 2022. They held Tottenham at Ibrox earlier this season and also claimed an impressive win over Nice in this competition.
