“What a CHEAT not really having that”- Rio Ferdinand Furious as Manchester United’s Goal is Shockingly Disallowed Against Rangers

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand expressed his frustration after his former team’s opening goal was ruled out during their Europa League clash with Rangers.

The two teams were battling it out in a highly anticipated Battle of Britain, with United appearing to take an early lead through Matthijs de Ligt, who scored from a corner.

However, referee Erik Lambrechts disallowed the goal, citing a foul by United defender Leny Yoro on Rangers’ Robin Propper. Yoro appeared to have nudged Propper in the back, but Ferdinand felt the decision was too harsh: “I’m not having that,” he said on TNT Sports. “It’s so soft. He’s just touched him, he’s leaned on him slightly, and he’s gone down like a pack of cards.”

With the match still 0-0 as half-time neared, both teams were vying for vital points in the Europa League group stage.

Rangers will finish their group campaign with a home game against Union St. Gilloise at Ibrox next Thursday, before traveling to face Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.
