Deal Sealed: Permanent Rangers transfer exit sealed for ‘powerful’ player as he immediately seals another deadline day move
A promising Rangers player has sealed a permanent transfer exit from the club.
Connor Allan, who had been on loan at Kelty Hearts for the first half of the 2024/25 season, has officially left Rangers and joined Falkirk on a permanent deal.
However, his move doesn’t end there—he will immediately return to Kelty Hearts on loan, where he’ll stay until the summer, under the management of Charlie Mulgrew.
Allan, a product of Rangers’ youth system, has impressed during his time at the club and played in the UEFA Youth League. Falkirk manager John McGlynn expressed his excitement over Allan’s signing, stating:
“We’re delighted to welcome Connor to the club. He will go back out on loan to Kelty Hearts, where he has been playing this season. We’ve been following Connor and believe he has a lot of potential.
He’s a very athletic central midfielder with great energy, and we’re confident he has what it takes.”
McGlynn added that Allan, who has been with Rangers for seven years and performed well for Kelty Hearts, will benefit from further experience in League One before joining Falkirk in the summer. In the meantime, he will join Falkirk on days he is not training with Kelty.
A statement from Kelty Hearts confirmed the deal: “Connor has today signed a contract with Falkirk after completing his permanent transfer from Rangers. He will rejoin Kelty Hearts on loan from Falkirk until the end of the season.”
