“Kris Boyd Can’t Hide His Celtic Grudge After Champions League Draw with Bayern Munich – His Comments Will Shock You

Kris Boyd has become the latest pundit to share his views on Celtic’s Champions League draw with Bayern Munich. However, many fans might wish he had kept his opinion to himself.

Boyd, who works as a pundit for one of the UK’s biggest broadcasters, is supposed to promote Scottish football and set aside any rivalry when analyzing European performances.

But when it came to evaluating Celtic’s performance against Bayern Munich, the former Rangers player couldn’t hide his bias.

While pundits across Europe praised Celtic’s efforts against one of the world’s top clubs, Boyd took a different approach, unable to remain professional and overlook his rivalry in his analysis of Celtic’s overall Champions League campaign.

Boyd commented, “Apart from that, they’ve done well, and you can see that as the tournament progressed, Brendan Rodgers adapted the style, and the players bought into it. It’s difficult, too, because Celtic dominate every game at home, but that’s not been the case in Europe.

But I think they’ve shown they can impose their style on some of the big teams.”

Not a word was said about Celtic’s impressive display against Bayern Munich.

Instead, Boyd focused on the win over Dortmund, victories against teams at the bottom of the league, and even took a dig at the new tournament format that supposedly helped the Hoops advance from the group stage.

This is arguably one of Boyd’s worst takes on Celtic, and it’s no surprise that fans get frustrated with his constant jabs on a major broadcasting channel.

As mentioned, Boyd’s role should be to support Scottish teams when they perform well in Europe and criticize when necessary.

Unfortunately, it seems the Sky Sports pundit missed the mark during his brief, two-minute segment this morning.
