We played against the best team in the season right now, and we showed we can keep going and have the personality to do what we need to do to win every game,” Cunha said on Wolves’ official website.
“But I think we need to be a little bit more clever to keep the level and not drop this kind of ‘good performance, bad performance.’
We need to find a way to be more consistent, and I think this is the most important thing to stay in the Premier League.”
Cunha referenced Wolves’ strong second-half performance against Liverpool at Anfield, acknowledging that the team has the potential to play at a high level but needs to find that consistency.
The quality within the Wolves squad gives them a clear advantage in the fight for survival, as their win against Bournemouth demonstrated.
