"Biggest Threat"- UK Press goes CRAZY over 7/10 Leeds player after 3-1 win Vs Sheffield United

“Biggest Threat”- UK Press goes CRAZY over 7/10 Leeds player after 3-1 win Vs Sheffield United

Leeds United extended their lead to five points at the top of the Championship table with a 3-1 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Monday night.

Goalkeeper Illan Meslier, however, made another costly mistake in a big game, as he palmed the ball into his own net to give Sheffield United an early lead.

After the break, Leeds found their rhythm, equalizing when Junior Firpo powered home a header from Dan James’ cross.

The Whites then turned the game in their favor in the final minutes. Ao Tanaka scored in the 89th minute, and Joel Piroe sealed the win with a powerful 20-yard strike.

The Yorkshire Post was particularly impressed by Manor Solomon’s performance, rating him 7/10. The paper commented: “Solomon looked the biggest threat as the first half wore on, although quieter in the second.”

It was a crucial win for Leeds, and they now look well-positioned to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.

However, with plenty of the season still to play, they must avoid repeating last year’s mistakes when they ran out of steam in the final stretch.

Leeds have shown resilience by winning back-to-back games after coming from behind, including last week’s victory over Sunderland.

Daniel Farke’s side remains unbeaten in their last 16 Championship matches, now seven points clear of third-placed Burnley.

Solomon was a standout performer, with two strong scoring chances near the end of the first half. Farke, who was serving a one-match ban and watched from the stands, will be pleased with his team’s effort.
