David Moyes will likely be frustrated with his team’s performance against Wolves but will still be content with the point gained.
Everton are currently going through a rough patch, with their performances starting to dip slightly.
The 1-1 draw with Wolves means they’ve now recorded three draws in their last four matches, but Moyes will be happy to see his team in a solid position in the Premier League.

Though this is just a recent slump, Moyes may start to question the striker’s performances. Additionally, the Everton manager might also reflect on comments made by Wolves’ boss, Vitor Pereira, after the game.
Pereira Highlights Wolves’ Issues Against Everton
It appears Moyes’ Everton team can be a threat to any side at the moment, and Pereira has pinpointed an area where the Toffees seem to excel.
Although Paul Merson had predicted Everton would win, the result felt more like a reality check for the club after an impressive run under Moyes.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Pereira mentioned what he saw as a problem for his side in dealing with Everton:
“They are physically strong, and to compete in this league, we need to compete against these kind of teams,” Pereira said. “Defending set-pieces is always a problem against them.”
Moyes, however, may not fully agree with Pereira’s assessment.
Moyes May Disagree With Pereira’s Comments Following Draw
The game lacked quality from both teams, with Marshall Munetsi and Jack Harrison’s goals hardly being memorable finishes.
For Harrison, however, it was a positive moment as he scored his first goal for Everton this season, ending a 24-match drought in league play.
While Moyes will be pleased for Harrison, he may question Pereira’s comment, especially since Everton didn’t look dangerous from set-pieces.
This was highlighted by Moyes’ visible frustration with his team’s performance on set-pieces during the match, and Charlie Adam’s role as set-piece coach could come under scrutiny.
While improvements are necessary, Moyes’ Everton side remains hard to beat, with defeats continuing to seem unlikely at the moment.
