10/10 performance rating, what a MASTERCLASS, he’s now undroppable for Farke”- SkySports pundit Terry Gibson by Leeds star who legs v Millwall. could he be the answer to Leeds United surviving the Premier League

Terry Gibson had high praise for Leeds United following their 2-0 victory over Millwall on Wednesday.

The win saw Leeds reclaim top spot in the Championship, moving two points clear of second-placed Sheffield United.

Despite a disappointing 1-0 loss to Portsmouth on Saturday, Daniel Farke appears to have lifted the team’s spirits and got them back to their best for the clash against Millwall.

While all of Leeds’ players earned recognition for their performance, there was one player in particular who caught Gibson’s eye.

Gibson hails Dan James’ performance against Millwall

Leeds have been in impressive form this season, asserting themselves as one of the dominant teams in the Championship.

While there have been a few nervous moments along the way, the West Yorkshire side continues to come out on top.

Dan James has been a standout performer, playing a key role in Farke’s system.

The Welsh winger is not only skilled on the ball but also has a sharp eye for goal and is always ready to put in a defensive shift when needed.

Following another solid performance against Millwall, Gibson praised James during a live broadcast on Sky Sports+ (12 March, 21:20), saying:

“They might need to make the change for Dan James, but his attitude is a 10/10,” he said. “He’s been really great, getting forward and supporting Solomon, especially as his legs start to go.

He may not have that burst of pace at the end, but once he has the ball, he manages to escape from defenders and salvage the situation.”

James could be key to Leeds’ Premier League survival

While Leeds may have had a few shaky moments in recent weeks, they look well on track for promotion to the Premier League next season.

To survive in the top flight, they’ll need to strengthen their squad with new signings, but keeping hold of James will be a step in the right direction.

The Welshman has been Leeds’ standout player this season, and although he missed a few games earlier in the campaign due to injury, he has been in excellent form recently.

With 19 goal contributions in the Championship so far, James shows no signs of slowing down.

If Leeds do secure promotion and want to avoid relegation, building their Premier League team around James could be the key to their survival.
