Exclusive: ‘Unbelievable’ Wolves Star on the Verge of Leaving – Premier League Giants Eyeing Major Move

Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is becoming more likely to leave the club this summer, despite having signed a new contract in January, according to sources from GIVEMESPORT.

The Brazilian has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 4 assists in 29 appearances across all competitions, making him the standout performer at the club.

His impressive performances during the January transfer window attracted significant interest from other clubs.

Although several teams explored the possibility of signing him, Wolves held firm as they fought against relegation.

They then convinced Cunha, the former Atletico Madrid forward, to sign a new long-term deal at Molineux, putting an end to the speculation about his departure mid-season.

However, the new contract included a £62.5m release clause, and with the summer transfer window approaching, it now seems likely he could leave.

Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham are all reportedly interested in Cunha as they seek to strengthen their attacking options.

As a result, Wolves are already planning for a potential departure and are considering replacements for the Brazilian.

In addition to Cunha, other Wolves players, including fellow Brazilian Joao Gomes, have also attracted interest, but sources insist that manager Julen Lopetegui is keen to avoid losing multiple key players this summer.

The £62.5m release clause makes it easier for rival clubs to negotiate Cunha’s departure, and Wolves are preparing for the possibility of his exit.

Cunha has been a key factor in Wolves’ survival hopes this season, with the club now nine points clear of the relegation zone after their recent victory over bottom club Southampton.

However, his temperament has come under scrutiny after receiving a second red card of the season for a headbutt during the FA Cup defeat to Bournemouth, resulting in a suspension at a crucial time.

While Wolves would prefer to keep Cunha, they have limited control over his future due to the release clause, and it now seems increasingly likely that he will be moving on this summer.
