Sunderland striker Eliezer Mayenda’s impressive season continues after achieving another milestone on the international stage.

Coming on as a substitute in the 75th minute, Mayenda reflected on his achievement: “It was an amazing feeling. It’s my first call-up, so I’m very happy and proud to have made my debut.
I’ve been working hard every day, and this is a great reward for that effort.”
He continued: “I want to become a better player. I’ll try to learn as much as possible every day. My goal is to keep improving with every opportunity I get.”
