"I don’t think they will, i think Leeds will miss out on the top two, i really do"- Gabriel Agbonlahor makes OUTRAGEOUS claim about Leeds united and their supporters. Leeds will shut him down

“I don’t think they will, i think Leeds will miss out on the top two, i really do”- Gabriel Agbonlahor makes OUTRAGEOUS claim about Leeds united and their supporters. Leeds will shut him down

Leeds United are focused on securing automatic promotion in the final eight games of the Championship season.

Despite sitting at the top of the table, their recent form has sparked claims that they could be on the brink of an implosion.

Gabriel Agbonlahor, known for stirring the pot, is at it again with bold and controversial statements about the club and its fans.

With little time to concern themselves with outside noise, Daniel Farke and his players are preparing for Sunday’s clash with Swansea City at Elland Road.

Leeds go into the match as the favorites, given their strong home form and the fact that Swansea appear to be drifting aimlessly in mid-table.

The club’s remaining fixtures are more favorable than those of Sheffield United and Burnley, but that hasn’t stopped Agbonlahor from fueling the fire with his criticism of Leeds.

“This Is Just What Leeds Do – Even Their Fans Know It” – Agbonlahor’s Bold Prediction

The former striker, who has long been vocal in his criticisms of Leeds, recently claimed that if the club were to gain promotion, manager Daniel Farke would struggle in the Premier League.

Agbonlahor now insists Leeds won’t finish in the top two due to their history of self-sabotage, arguing that promotion will only come through a dramatic playoff final.

“I don’t think Leeds will make the top two, I really don’t,” Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT. “This is what they always do. Speak to ex-Leeds players or their fans, and they know it won’t be easy.

“If they go up, it’ll be through a tense playoff final, maybe extra-time and penalties. That’s how Leeds will get promoted, if they do.”

He added, “I believe Sheffield United and Burnley will go up automatically, and Leeds will throw it away.”

A Win Against Swansea Could Silence the Critics

Despite Agbonlahor’s provocative comments, Farke and his squad are determined to stay focused and secure the three points against Swansea on Saturday.

However, the growing chorus of pundits continues to pile pressure on Leeds, insisting they’ll falter in the final stretch of the season.

While many agree Leeds are the best team in the Championship, there’s still a prevailing belief that they’ll falter when it matters most, especially with six of their remaining games against teams in the bottom half of the table.

The only way Leeds can silence critics like Agbonlahor is by stringing together a series of strong results over the next few weeks to prove their doubters wrong once and for all.
