West Ham United could beat Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers to the signing of FC Twente star Sem Steijn, according to reports.
All three Premier League clubs are looking to strengthen their squads this summer with the goal of finishing in the top half of the table.
It’s been a challenging season for both West Ham and Wolves, with the latter recently involved in a relegation battle.
This poor form could prompt managers Graham Potter and Vitor Pereira to pursue Steijn following his impressive campaign.

Steijn’s excellent form in the Eredivisie has caught the attention of top-flight clubs, with the 23-year-old having an outstanding campaign.
In just 40 games for Twente this season, he has scored 27 goals and provided six assists, making him one of the standout players in the Netherlands.
His performances have made him a hot prospect for Premier League clubs, who could act quickly to secure his services before other clubs make a move.
Interest in Steijn is not limited to the Premier League, with clubs in Germany and France also reportedly tracking him.
His impressive goal-scoring record, including 18 goals in the 2021/22 season with ADO Den Haag, has only added to his reputation.
This season, Steijn has netted 22 goals in the Eredivisie, almost doubling the tally of second-placed strikers Luuk de Jong and Troy Parrott, who have just 12 goals each.
