Leeds United Set to Stick with Farke Despite Earlier Doubts
There had been whispers that Leeds United might part ways with manager Daniel Farke this summer, despite their confirmed promotion to the Premier League.

The German coach has two years left on his contract, but speculation swirled, with pundits like Carlton Cole and Scott Minto suggesting Farke could be more vulnerable than other managers like Chris Wilder or Scott Parker.
However, any uncertainty was put to rest after Leeds’ emphatic 6-0 win and confirmation of promotion.
Chairman Paraag Marathe issued a strong statement backing Farke, praising his efforts and leadership.

Speaking via the club’s official channels, Marathe called Farke and the squad “relentless,” adding:

Why This Time Could Be Different for Farke
Some fans have voiced concerns based on Farke’s previous Premier League spell with Norwich, where he managed just 21 points in 2019-20 and was eventually dismissed in November 2021 after a poor start to the following season.
However, circumstances have changed. At Norwich, Farke had limited financial backing.
Now, with Leeds under the 49ers’ ownership and the support of Red Bull, journalist Phil Hay believes Farke will receive proper investment to build a squad capable of staying in the top flight.
