Burnley have officially joined Leeds United in securing promotion to the Premier League, but the battle for the Championship title is still far from over.

Burnley, on the other hand, have built their success on rock-solid defence, letting in only 15 goals across 45 games — the stingiest record in the division. Their latest clean sheet came in a dominant win over QPR earlier today.
Scott Parker’s side sent a strong message with their performance at Loftus Road. Josh Cullen opened the scoring inside 10 minutes, followed by a Zian Flemming brace, with Jeremy Sarmiento adding two more to seal a 5-0 win — all before Leeds take to the pitch.
Despite having already secured promotion on Easter Monday, Burnley have shown no signs of slowing down. Their emphatic win puts the pressure firmly on Leeds to respond.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Parker made Burnley’s ambitions clear: “We’re going to go for it — that’s the aim now and that’s what we’re going to do. We’ll enjoy the moment, but there are two games left and we’re going for the title.”
As for Farke, this marks his third promotion to the Premier League as a manager, and he’ll now aim to make it a hat-trick of Championship titles — with Leeds’ destiny entirely in their own hands.
