Chelsea Edge Past Everton with Narrow Win at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea claimed all three points with a narrow victory over Everton on Saturday, thanks to a first-half strike from Nicolas Jackson.
The Blues started brightly and took control early, with Jackson opening the scoring before the break.
Despite some second-half resistance from the visitors, Everton couldn’t find an equaliser and left Stamford Bridge empty-handed.

Beto Fails to Stake His Claim as Everton’s Lead Striker
Beto’s performance raised further doubts about his suitability as Everton’s main striker next season.
Despite his physical attributes, he struggled to assert himself, rarely threatening Chelsea’s defence.
His poor positioning and decision-making often disrupted Everton’s forward play. While he has shown glimpses of talent, his inconsistency and lack of sharpness in key moments suggest he’s more suited to a backup role rather than leading the line.
Branthwaite Proves His Worth Once Again
Jarrad Branthwaite continued to prove why Everton rate him so highly. The 21-year-old delivered a composed and assured defensive display, showing strength, intelligence, and a calmness beyond his years.
With growing interest from Europe’s elite and Everton’s financial constraints, keeping hold of the £70m-rated defender could be a challenge.
Without him, the scoreline could’ve been far worse, and Moyes will be well aware of his value.
