“Bristol City Boss Reveals Shocking Truth About Leeds United – Are They the Best Team He’s Faced This Season?

Leeds United Thrash Bristol City in Promotion Party at Elland Road

Leeds United celebrated their return to the Premier League in style on Monday night with a dominant 4-0 win over Bristol City at a lively Elland Road.

Goals from Ao Tanaka, Wilfried Gnonto, and a brace from Largie Ramazani secured the emphatic victory, keeping Daniel Farke’s side at the top of the Championship heading into the final match of the season.

With Burnley level on 97 points in second place, the title race will go down to the wire.

Leeds travel to face Plymouth Argyle, while Burnley host Millwall in what promises to be a dramatic conclusion to the campaign.

Winning the Championship would mark Farke’s third second-tier title as a manager. However, despite leading Leeds back to the top flight, speculation continues to swirl about his future.

Chairman Paraag Marathe is expected to hold discussions with Farke after the season ends, and uncertainty remains over whether the German will stay on.

Manning Calls Leeds the Best Side His Team Has Faced

Monday’s commanding win was arguably Leeds’ most convincing performance of the season, especially impressive considering promotion had already been secured.

Bristol City, currently fifth in the table, posed a serious challenge, but Leeds made light work of them.

Robin boss Liam Manning praised Farke’s men after the match, calling them “the best team we’ve played this season,” and acknowledging their superiority in both quality and execution.

Earlier in the campaign, Manning’s side managed to hold Leeds to a 0-0 draw, but this time, they were completely outclassed.

Manning Shows Support for Farke Amid Exit Rumours

Even before kick-off, Manning spoke out in support of Farke amid the growing speculation about his job, describing it as “incredible” that a manager could face the sack after guiding a team to promotion.

As the match neared its end, about 90 seconds before the final whistle, Manning shared a warm embrace with Farke, congratulating him on the result and promotion—further solidifying his reputation as one of the Championship’s most respected managers.

With celebrations now behind them, Leeds shift their attention to Saturday’s decisive clash with Plymouth Argyle, who are fighting to avoid relegation.

The match kicks off at 12:30pm and could determine whether Leeds lift the Championship trophy.
